Johnny is a 5th generation Texan. Prior to obtaining his real estate license, his career included 28-years in the energy industry where he served in compliance. He is currently the Managing Director of a family farming and ranching business in South Texas. He believes that "clients should experience total satisfaction". This is his approach to all real estate transactions. Johnny's volunteer activities include: Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Texas Wildlife Association, and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
Buddy grew up in Tomball, Tx. and that is where his 31-year sales career started. He spent 26 years selling Horse & Livestock Aluminum Trailers. Buddy and his wife Sandy started Maxwell Trailers Sales in June 2000 and became one of the fastest growing trailer dealers. In April of 2003 he formed a partnership with one of his past clients and together they opened Gulf Coast 4-Star Trailer Sales then moved the dealership to Willis, Tx. July 2005. Buddy has always put his client’s interest first and will continue to do so in his Real Estate career, he looks forward to serving his past clients as well as meeting the needs of new clients.
Shannon was born and raised in Dayton, Texas, just a few miles from his grandparents farm where his passion for faith, livestock and a rural life was inspired. Shannon and his wife Debbie raised their family in the Montgomery area and have been involved in Real Estate investments since 1987. They currently own a small 12 acre ranch in Whitehall, Texas. He also spent 31 years in the manufacturing industry, including 20 years as the founder and owner of an ISO Certified manufacturing company and was a patent designer. A 5th generation Texan, Scott is a 1993 Graduate of Texas A&M University and 1999 Graduate of the University of Houston with an MBA in Finance. Before beginning his career in Real Estate, he spent over 25 years in the oil and gas industry where he has generated upstream exploration projects, supervised field operations, and managed mineral and royalty interests. He has also been active in family real estate holdings as well as a cow/calf operation. Scott is a 4-time Ironman athlete. He enjoys SCUBA diving, hunting and fishing, and is an airline transport rated pilot. He has been an active volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since 1994.

Mel Simonton is a native Texan who developed an early addiction to all things outdoors. After a terribly boring career in residential real estate sales in Wichita Falls he answered the call of the “outdoors” and moved to Possum Kingdom Lake where he thoroughly enjoyed selling over 450 ranch and resort properties. He joined Jacobs Properties in 2015. Mel and his wife Sharon, also a licensed real estate salesperson, live in The Woodlands.
Lamar joined Jacobs Properties in 2024. Originally from Louisiana, Lamar moved to Texas to practice real estate law where he represented commercial and residential property owners in commercial litigation. He has experience in landlord/tenant law, adverse possession, and boundary disputes which provides the foundation for his unique understanding of the issues property owners face when buying, selling, and improving land. In addition to his Texas real estate agents license, he maintains active law licenses in Texas and Mississippi. Lamar grew up with an agricultural background where his grandfather and father raised livestock on their family farm. This way of life gave him a deep appreciation of land along with the benefits and responsibilities of land ownership. He also assists his family in managing farmland in central Mississippi. Lamar is a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Realtors Land Institute, and the Texas Land Brokers Network. He currently lives in Houston with his wife, Caroline. They attend Houston’s First Baptist Church and enjoy wild game cooking, exploring Texas, and catching an Astros game.
I am a native of Southeast Texas. Graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agricultural Economics in 1985. I currently manage a large family-owned timberland tract in Montgomery County. 3rd generation landowner. Member of the Texas Forestry Association since 2004. I enjoy all things outdoors such as hunting, fishing and camping. Joined Jacobs Properties in September 2016.
Jeff and his wife Nancy own and operate a small ranch in Northwest Montgomery County. Jeff has been with Jacobs Properties since 2009 providing both buyers and sellers assistance in Farm and Ranch property transactions in Montgomery and surrounding counties.
